Seizan**, Tokyo - Well-deserved 2star Kaiseki in Mita area by young chef Haruhiko Yamamoto ( a runners-up Rising Star Chef by @four_magazine) This was our 5th visit and, whilst no longer benefitting from 'surprise' factor, Seizan continues to serve high(est) quality of ingredients matched with precision cooking in a spacious restaurant with modern aesthetics (breath of fresh air from the usual kappo style). Easily approachable (not too traditional) taste-profile, highly recommended for kaiseki veterans and rookies alike.
