Nukumi***, Sapporo (Jul'13) - The only 3 star Michelin 'Kaiseki' in whole of Hokkaido. Courses include : Okoze otsukuri ( lethal scorpion fish, a summer alternative to Fugu puffer fish) , Hamo-Matsutake , Manakatsuo fish with Hokkaido sweet corn, tennen (wild) Unagi eel with dashi jelly, Awabi-hotate-hokkigai Gohan. A high quality meal that's definitely one of very best in Hokkaido but 3-stars are a touch generous when compared to the standards of Kyoto/Tokyo.
