After getting stuck in onsen hotel at Abashiri for 3 days with nothing to do because of a snow storm, we took a train back to Sapporo. Luckily, the snow storm has subsided and the return train journey only took the normal 5 1/2 hours rather than 9 1/2 hours that took us from Sapporo to Abashiri because of the snow storm. When we got back to Sapporo, we still had ample of time to checkin at our hotel and then went to 花小路さわ田 Hanakoji Sawada for dinner. Hanakoji Sawada is a kaiseki 懷石restaurant and it's ranked no. 3 for kaiseki restaurants in Sapporo.
